Apple really needs to add USB Mass Storage mode so we can add all kinds of document files and such to the iPhone -- only storing Photos and now audio files in 3.0 does not cut it. Also, I am unable to send any file from the iPod section of the device. Hence the need for a user storage location for things like resumes and cover letters, etc.

Apple should Enable the Current Temperature to be displayed on the Weather Icon in the Home Screen based on your actual current location, or you can optionally select your default location in the app. They did the updated icon with the Calendar app, so why not weather too?! ;-)

It woul be nice if a list of upcoming calendar events were listed on the phones lock screen. Makes it easy for a quick glance of upcoming events.
Save & Send Email Attachments besides pictures

How is it that we STILL cannot save email attachments or send them?! I cannot reply to a job email with my MS Word or RTF resume, and I cannot save any attachments except pictures to my iPhone -- it makes absolutely NO SENSE! Apple NEEDS to add an attach button to the Mail compose pane, and add file storage to the iPhone... Also, USB Mass Storage mode is desperately needed to fully support what

This is such a standard feature in every GPS it really is amazing that it's not included in the iPhone. The iPhone has both the hardware and the software to accomplish this but does not currently offer it. The current maps functionality is similar to the Google web maps "follow me" style of directions. Which is handy but is not going to "get you there" unless you interact with the map applic

Please allow the iPhone to be used as a tethered Internet connection for a computer, for both a direct USB connection as well as over Bluetooth.

Now that Apple's expanding the use of bluetooth in iPhone 3.0, I'd like to be able to (finally) use my Apple (or any) bluetooth keyboard with an iPhone or iPod Touch 2G. On-screen keyboards just don't cut when you can touch-type 50 wpm. How about it, Apple?
